Excellent excellent experience from the sales person Mr. Archie to the product manager Mike Ramos Mike was so professional and top of his game. He made sure that everything is going smooth Even we had to do a little construction to the stucco he made sure and purchased the right color to match it and he did it two times to satisfy us excellent excellent job I do appreciate him. I do recommend this company to any one Outstanding
Very professional company and team. They follow through with their promises and commitments. I highly recommend Universal Roofing to anyone looking for a high quality installation and team! Thank you Bailey Hinshaw for overseeing my project and taking ownership of the final results!
I am very pleased with my new roof installed by Universal Roof. Received a clear estimate from Cory with options for colors. The price was reasonable and my questions were addressed. The crew and office staff were professional and my project manager Tony Contreras was on the ball with information and answers. I would recommend Universal Roof and Contractors to anyone needing a new roof.
We were very pleased with the entire process of getting our roof replaced. In particular, Sebastian and his crew were fantastic. Sebastian gave us great explanations about the work being performed and changes to the roof venting. All the work was done in just over a day and when they left, the yard and house area were completely clean. Thank you!
We had a fantastic experience with Universal Roof and Contracting from start to finish. They were honest, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the entire process. The communication was absolutely stellar-every step was clearly explained and we always felt informed. Brian Bower was a pleasure to work with; his expertise and care for us as homeowners truly stood out. Raven did a phenomenal job coordinating everything and made the process seamless and stress free. Anderson, our project manager, was outstanding. He took the time to thoroughly explain each phase of the project and ensured everything was done efficiently and to the highest standards. We couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend Universal Roof and Contracting to anyone in need of roofing work. They’ve definitely earned our trust and our thanks!
Exceptional service and communication from start to finish! The entire process was seamlessly organized, and we were kept informed every step of the way. Raven, Johnathan, and Brian made up an outstanding project team—professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience!
Love my new roof. Anderson and his crew got the roof replaced in one day. Explained everything they were doing through the entire process and answerd any questions I had.
I am the President of my condo association (8 units) and we used Universal for a new roof and paint job for our whole building. From the sales experience to the install, Universal was amazing to deal with. There were hiccups, of course - it is construction! But the team was really kind and thoughtful, answered all our questions, dealt with persnickety home owners with grace, thorough, cleaned up well, and just overall make a messy and disruptive process pretty seamless. I highly recommend them for your roofing needs!
Anderson Gomez from Universal Roof & Contracting was absolutely amazing as the Project Manager for our new roof! Anderson was transparent, engaged, and extremely knowledgeable. His roofing crew consisted of some of the hardest working people I have ever observed. Every employee at URC was absolutely a pleasure to work with – from the front office, to the PM, to the roofers themselves. If Google allowed me to give 6 stars vice 5 stars, I would have. It is without hesitation that I give my highest endorsement to URC and a special thanks to Anderson, his roofing crew, Raven, and Jade! – Most Thankfully, Marty

Universal Roof & Contracting serves Sebastian with every major roofing service — repair, replacement, inspections, storm response, gutters, and all four mainstream roof systems — from our Greater Orlando office. Family-owned since 1993, BBB-accredited with an A+ rating, and Owens Corning Platinum Preferred. This page is the whole picture in one place; every section links to the full service behind it.
The weather those roofs answer to is measurable. NOAA's 1991–2020 normals for the Orlando Intl Ap station put annual rainfall at 51.45 inches, with 57% of it falling June through September and 8.05 inches in June alone. Most of that rain arrives in summer storms, often wind-driven, and it finds any weak flashing detail on Sebastian rooflines quickly.
Combine that rainfall with coastal salt and UV, and Sebastian roofs have a lot working on them. We inspect the details first: flashing, penetrations, the roof edge.
Sebastian sits in the Atlantic storm region, and the record is specific: Nicole (2022) — November landfall at Vero Beach; storm surge and beach erosion damage up the east coast to Jacksonville (NOAA/NHC TCR AL172022). Matthew (2016) — paralleled the northeast Florida coast; significant wind and surge damage from the Space Coast to Jacksonville (NOAA/NHC TCR AL142016).
After any of those, the useful thing a homeowner can do is document from the ground: photograph what is visible, note the date, check ceilings that night and again a week later. Then get a professional assessment before small openings become interior damage. We run storm routes across Indian River County and put findings in writing with photographs — no scare tactics, no inflated damage lists.
Everything the Greater Orlando crews do runs through Sebastian: roof repair, full replacement installed to manufacturer specification, free documented inspections, storm response, commercial systems, and the roof edge — soffit, fascia and seamless gutters. Materials: metal, architectural shingle, tile, and our exclusive Metlok system.
Universal Roof & Contracting has been family-owned since 1993 — state-licensed (CCC057165 & CBC1258484), fully insured, BBB-accredited with an A+ rating, and an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor, a tier held by fewer than 1% of roofing contractors. Estimates are free and itemized; the inspection comes back as photographs and a written report you keep either way.
Three things: stay off the roof, photograph what's visible from the ground with the date, and get professional eyes up there quickly, because even small openings let water reach the decking. We run storm assessments across Indian River County with tarping available the same visit where roofs need immediate protection.
Completely. You get the walkthrough, the photographs, and a written condition report at no cost, no strings — the report is yours even if we never hear from you again. Most end with 'you're fine, here's what to watch.'
Shingle: about 20 years. Tile: more than 50 with care, per a National Association of Home Builders study. Metal depends on the product, so ask for its warranty term. Installation quality decides which end of the range your roof lands on.
Photos, honest findings, and a written condition report — free, and yours to keep either way.
