Universal Roofing did an amazing job on our new roof! From suggesting the color of the shingles, to speedy installation amd clean up to always explaining the process the entire team was friendly and professional! We have used them before and definitely will used them again
Having a re-roof is a stressful time but I knew to call Universal Roofing Inc from my previous experience with them from my old address. It's a step-by-step process (weather permitting) which Tracy(V.P.) walked me through. From customer service, explanation of roof products, to permits and completion was less stressful having an experienced company...and roof looks great! Thank you Universal Roofing Inc.
Universal has done a fantastic job with out roof. We have used them over the years for some repairs and they have always been punctual, detailed and very professional. So when it was time for a complete new roof we stuck w the best . Again very thorough, professional, and offered a great selection of colors and styles In addition, they are priced very competitively . I would highly recommended Universal Roof and contractors!
Getting a new can be scary, but this company made this process easy and affordable for me. I was very pleased with the customer service and quick and clean completion of the job with good attention to small details and response to my concerns. Thank you Ms. Diana and Tyler and crew.
Jim and Tracy and their whole crew are exceptional. Roofing is one of those jobs that 99% of all consumers have no clue. One must trust what they are told. So many of the roofers are full of you know what and sell you more than you need. Universal is the opposite. They tell you what you need and even suggest optins that save money. They tell you the pros and cons of each alternative. I could go on and on however suffice it to say that Universal is the best.
Universal roofing did an amazing job. Everyone I worked with was very professional and polite. They professionally helped me out throughout the entire process. In the middle of summer it only took them a day and a half and I have a wonderful roof.

Architectural shingles come in more colors, styles and textures than any other material — so you can match your home's exterior or lift it, without a custom-roof price tag.
Our Owens Corning shingles carry StreakGuard algae resistance (warranted for 25 years) and a wind warranty engineered for a storm state. Installed correctly, they shrug off UV and sun that ages a lesser roof early.
Shingle is the most budget-friendly complete roof we install — dependable for decades when it's done right, and never by cutting the corners that void a manufacturer warranty.
A fresh, correctly-ventilated shingle system reflects more heat than a worn, sun-baked roof lets through — which your air conditioning feels all summer.
Thicker, layered shingles with depth and shadow lines that mimic wood shake or slate. They carry more weight per square and are what we install on most homes.
The classic flat, uniform shingle — the most economical option, still America's baseline. Lighter-duty than architectural, and a fit where budget leads the decision.
The premium tier: oversized, multi-dimensional shingles that read like natural slate or shake from the curb.
An asphalt shingle roof is commonly expected to last around 20 years, and Florida heat, UV and storms can shorten that. Ventilation and a correct installation decide where yours lands. That installation quality is the whole ballgame, and it's what we're obsessive about.

As Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractors — a tier Owens Corning says is held by under 1% of roofing contractors — we can offer the Platinum Protection warranty, backed by Owens Corning itself: a limited lifetime warranty with full TRU PROtection coverage on materials for the first 50 years, plus workmanship coverage that is lifetime but reduces after 25 years. More than half of new construction businesses close within ten years (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics), so a warranty that leans on your contractor alone is worth less than one the manufacturer stands behind. It can also be transferred to the next owner within 60 days of a sale.
What Platinum Preferred meansAsphalt shingle offers the widest palette of any roof material — driftwood grays, weathered woods, deep charcoals and warm earth tones. We bring physical samples to your free inspection so you see them against your actual walls and Florida light, never just a screen.

In Florida, usually yes. Architectural shingles are thicker and heavier, and they're what we install on most homes. Three-tab is the budget option; luxury shingles are the premium slate-look tier. We'll walk the trade-offs at your inspection.
After a free inspection we give you a detailed, highly accurate quote based on your roof's size, pitch, complexity, the exact asphalt shingle system you choose, and labor. We offer multiple financing options, and the quote comes with a project timeline. Any change is documented and approved with you first. Comparing quotes? Our Florida roof buyer's checklist covers the five questions to ask any roofer.
Yes. Every area in Florida has its own permit requirements, and obtaining them shouldn't be your responsibility — we handle the permitting on every project.
It depends on the size and complexity of your roof and the material. A straightforward replacement can be a few days; a large or complex roof takes longer. Your quote includes an estimated timeline.
