Roof Financing in Florida

A roof is rarely a planned expense. Financing exists so replacing one doesn't mean emptying the account you keep for everything else — partial or full, with a quick answer rather than a drawn-out process.

Having a re-roof is a stressful time but I knew to call Universal Roofing Inc from my previous experience with them from my old address. It's a step-by-step process (weather permitting) which Tracy (V.P.) walked me through. From customer service, explanation of roof products, to permits and completion was less stressful having an experienced company... and roof looks great! Thank you Universal Roofing Inc.

Jim and Tracy and their whole crew are exceptional. Roofing is one of those jobs that 99% of all consumers have no clue. One must trust what they are told. So many of the roofers are full of you know what and sell you more than you need. Universal is the opposite. They tell you what you need and even suggest options that save money. They tell you the pros and cons of each alternative. I could go on and on however suffice it to say that Universal is the best.

Fantastic customer service. Kenneth was great. Very professional. Found problem within minutes and fixed. Would recommend for repairs and full roof replacement.

Roof financing lets you spread the cost of a replacement or a larger repair instead of paying for it all at once. Universal offers a range of options across Florida — partial or full — and your Project Manager walks through them alongside your written quote at the free inspection. Nothing about financing gets decided before anyone knows what the roof actually needs.

How it works

Four steps, in this order

The order matters. Financing sized against a guess is how homeowners end up borrowing the wrong amount.

01

Free inspection first

Nobody can size financing before anyone knows what the roof actually needs. The inspection is free and comes with photos and a written report.

02

An itemised written quote

A fixed scope with the numbers on it, so what you're financing is a real figure rather than an estimate that moves later.

03

Options laid out side by side

Your Project Manager walks through paying cash versus financing, and what each looks like for your job — before you commit to anything.

04

A quick answer

No drawn-out paper-pushing process. You find out where you stand quickly, which matters when the roof is actively leaking.

What it means

You don't have to choose between the right roof and your savings

The thing we see most often is a homeowner picking a cheaper system than their house actually needs because of what they can pay this month. In Florida that usually costs more over the life of the roof, not less.

Financing is how you separate the two decisions: what the roof should be, and how you pay for it. We'll price the right roof either way and let you decide.

  • Partial or fullYou don't have to finance the whole job. Plenty of homeowners put some cash down and finance the balance — that choice is yours, not the lender's.
  • Keep your savings intactA roof is rarely a planned expense. Financing exists so replacing one doesn't mean emptying the account you keep for everything else.
  • Repairs too, not just replacementsLarger repairs can be financed as well. It isn't only for full re-roofs.
  • A fixed number firstFinancing runs against an itemized written quote — a real figure with the decking rate stated up front, not an estimate that moves after tear-off. You see the cash price and the financed path side by side.

Financing questions, answered

Do you offer roof financing in Florida?

Yes — we offer a range of financing options across all three of our Florida markets, for both replacements and larger repairs. Your Project Manager lays out the options alongside your written quote at the free inspection, so you can compare paying cash against financing before deciding anything.

Do I have to finance the whole roof?

No. Partial financing is common — many homeowners put some cash toward the job and finance the balance. The split is your call.

How fast do I find out if I'm approved?

Quickly. There's no drawn-out paper-pushing process, which matters when a roof is actively leaking and the decision can't wait weeks. We'll tell you what the process looks like before you apply.

Can I finance a roof repair, or only a replacement?

Larger repairs can be financed too. It isn't restricted to full replacements — if the job is significant enough that paying outright is difficult, it's worth asking.

Do I need to decide on financing before the inspection?

No — the order runs the other way. The free inspection comes first, then the written, itemized quote, and only then the financing conversation, with every option laid out against that fixed number. Deciding how to pay before anyone knows what the roof needs is how projects get financed backwards.

What does a roof actually cost before I think about financing?

It depends on the roof. Size, pitch, tear-off layers, decking condition and the material you choose all move it, which is why the free inspection and written quote come first — financing then runs against that real number. Comparing quotes? Our roof buyer's checklist lists what a written estimate should include.

Is there any cost to finding out my options?

None. The inspection is free, the written quote is free, and walking through the financing options costs nothing. You keep the photos and the report whether or not you go ahead.

Financing is provided by third-party lenders. Specific rates, terms and monthly payments depend on the lender, the amount financed and your credit — your Project Manager will go through the exact figures with you before you sign anything.

Start with what the roof actually needs

A free inspection, photos, and a written itemised quote. Then we talk about how to pay for it — not the other way round.
