The Credentials — And What Each One Actually Gets You
Every roofing company has a badge on its website. Here are ours, and more importantly, what each one means for the roof over your head — starting with the one that changes your warranty.

Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor
Owens Corning is the manufacturer that makes the shingles — the same company behind PINK fiberglass insulation. Platinum Preferred is the top tier of their contractor network, and Owens Corning says less than 1% of roofing contractors hold it. We've earned it and continuously maintain it.
What it takes to hold it
- At least $1 million in general liability insurance
- The licenses and insurance the law requires
- A satisfactory business credit rating
- A passed installation workmanship inspection
Why it matters to you
Only Platinum Preferred contractors can offer the Platinum Protection warranty — where the coverage is backed by Owens Corning, not just by the roofer. More than half of new construction businesses close within ten years, per the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. A warranty that depends solely on your contractor still being in business is worth less than one the manufacturer stands behind. It can also be transferred to the next owner within 60 days of a sale.
It's the same reason we can offer Owens Corning Platinum Protection, a limited lifetime warranty with full coverage on materials for the first 50 years and workmanship coverage that reduces after 25 years — read more about the products and warranties we install.
