These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at universalroof.com, any related pages, forms, tools, and communications we operate (collectively, the "Site"), and your engagement with our services. By accessing the Site or engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who We Are
Universal Roof & Contracting is a licensed and insured Florida roofing contractor (state licenses CCC057165 and CBC1258484) providing residential and commercial roofing services, including roof repair, roof replacement, roof inspections, storm damage response, and related services across our Florida service areas.
2. Website Content Is Informational Only
All content on the Site — including descriptions of services, materials, warranties, processes, pricing ranges, cost figures, timelines, and answers to common questions — is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not an offer, quote, estimate, guarantee, or professional advice of any kind, and it may change at any time without notice. Actual pricing, scope, materials, timelines, and warranty terms for any project are established only in a written agreement signed by both parties.
3. Estimates & Contracts
Any estimate, inspection report, or price discussion is preliminary and non-binding until confirmed in a signed written agreement. Final pricing and scope may vary based on project conditions, material availability, and other factors identified before or during the work, as set out in the applicable agreement.
4. Acceptable Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You will not misuse, disrupt, or interfere with the Site; attempt unauthorized access to any systems, accounts, or networks; scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site by automated means without our written permission; or submit false, misleading, or abusive information through our forms.
5. Forms, Communications & Consent
When you submit information through the Site — including inspection requests, information requests, nominations, and downloads — you represent that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it. Where you give express consent, we (and service providers acting on our behalf) may contact you by phone, text message, or email, including through automated technology, as described at the point of consent and in our Privacy Policy. Consent to marketing communications is not a condition of purchase.
6. SMS / Text Message Terms
Text messaging programs are operated in accordance with applicable carrier and regulatory requirements, including 10DLC registration.

- Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your requests, appointments, and program participation.
- Rates: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier plan.

Any discount, giveaway, or promotional offer presented on the Site is subject to its stated terms, available in writing on request, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time before a signed agreement incorporates it. Promotions cannot be combined unless expressly stated, have no cash value, and are void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Nothing in this section limits any written warranty expressly provided in a signed services agreement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Universal Roof & Contracting and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). This section applies to the Site only; liability relating to roofing services is governed by the applicable signed agreement and applicable law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Universal Roof & Contracting from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys\' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
13. Dispute Resolution — Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration provider under its consumer rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court or seek injunctive relief for intellectual-property misuse. Arbitration will take place in the county where you reside or another mutually agreed location, and may be conducted by telephone, video, or written submission.
You and Universal Roof & Contracting each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or other representative proceeding. Claims may be brought only in an individual capacity.
You may opt out of this arbitration provision by sending us written notice within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms. This section does not apply to disputes arising under a signed services agreement if that agreement contains its own dispute-resolution provision.
14. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including hurricanes, tropical storms, severe weather, natural disasters, labor or material shortages, utility or network failures, governmental actions, or other force majeure events.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to Section 13, any proceeding shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
