One free roof. Every year.
Free Roofs For Vets
Universal Roof & Contracting is veteran-founded. Every year we give one Florida veteran a complete roof replacement — free, no strings. Nominate yourself or a veteran who deserves it.
Serving those who served.
Supporting the veterans in our community isn't marketing to us — the company was founded by a veteran, and giving back to the men and women who served is part of how we operate. We consider it a sacred duty. They get the best of the best — deservedly so.
Nominations take about two minutes. Tell us who the veteran is and why — every single nomination gets read.
- Any U.S. veteran with a home in our Florida service area — Orlando/Central Florida, Tampa Bay, or the Jacksonville metro.
- Self-nominations welcome. So are nominations from family, neighbors, and friends.
- The roof is a complete replacement, installed by our crews — the same roof our paying customers get.

Program rules & disclosures
- The Veteran's Roof Giveaway typically runs once a year. Universal Roof & Contracting selects the recipient at its sole discretion, and the number of roofs awarded may vary year to year.
- Anyone may nominate — nominate yourself, or nominate a veteran you know. Submitting a nomination does not guarantee selection, and nominations may be considered in a future year's giveaway.
- The nominated home must be within the areas we serve, and the roof must be one we can permit and install under Florida code. Scope and materials are determined by Universal Roof & Contracting.
- No purchase is necessary to enter or win, and consent to be contacted is not a condition of purchase. Nominating costs nothing.
- Open to legal residents of Florida who are of the age of majority. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Any prize awarded may be taxable to the recipient, who is responsible for all applicable taxes.
- Full eligibility requirements, entry deadlines, and any additional official rules are published with each year's giveaway. Contact us for the current year's official rules before relying on any detail here.
