Work started on schedule and is in progress. Our sales manger Justin Feb and our project manager Tony Contreras are top notch, very experienced, responsive and maintained communication the entire way. The installation teams are also experienced, hard working and professional.

Had a great experience with Universal and Mike our project manager was great at keeping us up to date. He would send us pictures with a progress report regularly. The roof looks great as well as our new gutters. Robert our sales manager was also so easy to work with and had taken the time to really educate us on our options. This was overall a great experience.

About Belle Isle

Belle Isle is an incorporated city in Orange County, incorporated in 1924. The city describes itself as a residential community about three miles south of Orlando on the shores of Lake Conway.

For more than 90 years, its focus has stayed on protecting the water quality of Lake Conway through improvement projects and close watch over activities that could put the lake ecosystem at risk. Residents also work to preserve the chain of lakes and the area's oak trees. The 2020 Census counted 7,032 residents.

What we see here

Belle Isle Homes and What Their Roofs Face

The weather those roofs answer to is measurable. NOAA's 1991–2020 normals for the Orlando Intl Ap station put annual rainfall at 51.45 inches, with 57% of it falling June through September and 8.05 inches in June alone. Most of that rain arrives in summer storms, often wind-driven, and it finds any weak flashing detail on Belle Isle rooflines quickly.

Humidity, sun, and that rainfall all work on Belle Isle roofs, and edges, penetrations and fasteners are where we start every inspection.

The named systems

Storms Belle Isle Has Answered To

Belle Isle sits in the inland storm region, and the record is specific: Irma (2017) — crossed Central Florida as a hurricane; minor to moderate damage to many structures, widespread tree damage (NOAA/NHC TCR AL112017). Milton (2024) — hurricane-force gusts in Central Florida near the track; 14.83" of rain recorded near Orlando (NOAA/NHC TCR AL142024).

After any of those, the useful thing a homeowner can do is document from the ground: photograph what is visible, note the date, check ceilings that night and again a week later. Then get a professional assessment before small openings become interior damage. We run storm routes across Orange County and put findings in writing with photographs — no scare tactics, no inflated damage lists.

Belle Isle Roofing Questions

How long does a roof installation take?

One to three days for most Belle Isle homes, start to magnet-swept yard. Tile, steep, and cut-up roofs run longer; commercial ranges from days to weeks by size. You get a realistic window before work starts — and a heads-up if weather moves it.

Repair or replace — how do you decide?

Localized damage on a roof with life left: repair. Widespread wear, repeating leaks, or a roof near the end of its lifespan: replacement is often a better value than repeated patching. We put the recommendation in writing with photos so you can decide without pressure.

What does a roof replacement cost in Belle Isle?

No honest number exists without seeing the roof — size, pitch, tear-off depth, decking condition, and the material system move the total more than any average can capture. What we promise Belle Isle homeowners instead: a free inspection first, then a line-by-line estimate where the approved price is the built price.
