Gene was the first and only estimator to respond back to us getting a quote for a new roof. He was up front and gave us 3 different plans we could go with, and the benefits of each. Once we were ready, the financing process was super easy. And our roof was done before we went out of state the following week. Overall it was a good experience and I'd recommend them if you want top notch communication during the process, a pm on site during the roof process, and everything done in a timely manner when you need it.
Larry and I want to thank the great job by the whole crew at Universal Roof and Contracting in Tampa. We were in a rush to get our house reroofed for insurance purposes. We spoke to several people and ended up with three estimates from reputable companies. David Labadze from Universal came out and spent at least an hour and a half explaining the company, the steps to replace the roof and the materials they use. He kindly answered all our questions and explained the warranties, total and deductions (which included a Military discount). After meeting with and researching all three companies we felt comfortable with Universal. David answered all our questions at anytime. We were also grateful to have Segura Yordonis as our Project Manager. He came to the house everyday and answered any questions. The crew did our reroof in one day, and did an amazing job of cleaning up. David and Segura came by the house the next day after the clean up. We were able to get the inspection done, and get our house insurance right away. We sincerely appreciate all the hard work the staff and crew (including Marissa) at Universal Roof and Contracting did for us. We would highly recommend them, and we already have. I highly recommend Universal Roofing. Richard Adamsom was a pleasure to work with and was very helpful to me for all the documentation needed to get my Florida Grant. When I finally was approved for the grant Universal it took just a couple of weeks to start the project and they were complete in one day. It took about 7 months for the grant approval but Richard and Universal was right there when I told them it was a go. If you ever need a new roof Universal it is the way to go. After Hurricane Milton came through, we had some substantial roof damage and needed our, roof replaced. After interviewing multiple roofing company reps, we met with Tom Johnson from Universal. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He sat down with us at the kitchen table and went over everything and what to expect. The choice was clear, not just because of the price, but the fact that he knew exactly how to handle dealing with our insurance. While the whole process took a little longer than expected because of our HOA, we were never in the dark about what was happening. We also want to give a huge shoutout to our project manager, Yordanis. He was amazing!! The work crew was wonderful, very hard working, and courteous, making sure the area was clear of debris at all times. We would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a new roof or repairs!
