We Support Our Veterans In Central Florida
By Giving Away A Free Roof Replacement
We Consider Serving Those Who’ve
Served Our Country A Sacred Duty
At Universal Roof & Contracting, veterans are important to us. So, yearly, we give a veteran a free roof replacement in Central Florida or Jacksonville, FL.
It’s our small way of saying thanks and supporting the veterans in our community.
Universal Roof & Contracting is a veteran-founded roofing contractor that prides itself on providing the utmost service to its community. We hold ourselves accountable for the highest quality workmanship and customer service standards. Our accreditations back up that quality, and our reputation speaks for itself.
A Veteran-Founded And Owned Roofing Company
After serving our country, Ken Mellick founded Universal Roof & Contracting over thirty years ago. The business has stayed within the family ever since. Later, he brought his son into the business and passed it down to him.
While it may not have been written down (as the internet wasn’t what it is now), the core values of Ken’s company have been there all along.
A roofing contractor with integrity who’s accountable, reliable, and focused on service?
It’s precisely what the industry needed (especially back then).
Today, we stand just as we always have – an exceptional, experienced roofing contractor with customer advocacy at its heart.
Giving Away Free Roofs To Veterans
Whether in Tampa, Orlando, or Jacksonville, we give away a free roof replacement to a veteran every year. It changes yearly. It could be Tampa one year and Orlando the next, but it is based on submissions.
Veteran Submissions
Anyone who knows a veteran and wants to enter them into the giveaway can do so.
It’s a straightforward process, initially giving us the necessary information to ensure they are within giveaway parameters. That includes, but is not limited to, living within the locations of the giveaway and owning a home.
Then, give us the reason(s) why you feel they should be chosen for the free roof replacement.
Once the deadline for entering the giveaway has passed, we’ll go through submissions and handpick the winner.
What Happens After A Winner Is Selected?
Once we’ve selected a veteran, we’ll contact them and arrange everything. We handle everything from the roof inspection to the completion of the project, and our veteran will not spend a dime.
Everything is provided, including materials and labor.
We’ll visit the veteran’s home and meet with them to discuss their roof replacement. We’ll review the roof inspection, make recommendations, and let them decide everything, just as we do with every other roofing project we work on.
They get the best of the best – deservedly so.
Serving Veterans And Our Community
This is a project we care deeply about as a company. We really want to share our support of veterans in hopes of inspiring others to do the same.
If we all work together, we can move mountains!
Universal Roof & Contracting was founded on the entrepreneurial spirit of a veteran who continued to serve his country after having already done so. Today and in the future, we’ll continue to be the reliable roofing company you can trust with your home.
So, if you need a roof replacement in the Central Florida or Jacksonville area and want a service-focused company, contact Universal Roof & Contracting to schedule a roof inspection.
