This weekend, Universal associates and families enjoyed fun times at the Company BBQ Picnic. This annual outdoor event is hosted by the owners of Universal Roof & Contracting as a “Thank You” for the dedicated work of their employees.
With nearly one hundred in attendance this year, kids and adults alike enjoyed games, music and food – in a relaxed family atmosphere. BBQ, subs and sides took a back seat to the presentation of the Cajun shrimp boil including sausage, corn on the cob and potatoes prepared by Aaron.
Games included oversized lawn Scrabble and Twister, ginormous bubbles, splash water playhouse, and riveting games of kickball. And laughs abounded as Jared joined the tween girls with attempts at the Hula Hoop.
The Grows’ log cabin home on five Clermont acres was the perfect setting for a day of family fun, and it is affectionately referred to as the Big Bear Lodge.
