This weekend, Universal Contracting Community Works is joining with WDBO Radio at the Neighbors Helping Neighbors HUNGER-FREE HOLIDAY RADIOTHON. This fundraiser event kicked off November 2nd and will conclude this weekend with a LIVE radio broadcast from the Community Food & Outreach Center featuring Ask the Expert personalities and In the House with Ken & Jared.
Universal Contracting Community Works’ food drive will deliver much-needed food items, and community donations are being accepted all weekend at the Center, as well as calls with donations during the show. The Central Florida Community Food & Outreach Center strives to provide a hand up for those in need, helping them to break free from poverty by offering hunger relief, crisis care, transformative education, and employment training opportunities. The programs offered by the Community Food & Outreach Center focus on giving working poor families a positive hand up during their greatest time of need.
