Universal Roof & Contracting is a proud member of the Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association (FRSA) and supports the FRSA Charity of Choice. Read about the reach of our community involvement in this excerpt from February’s FRSA “Roof Flash” Newsletter. 2015 Charity of Choice – Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children
When children are hospitalized, it can be a very stressful experience, and often distractions are needed to entertain them and keep their minds off of their illness and pain. Video games are a helpful tool that allows the children to cope with the difficulties of a hospitalization.
With this in mind, the Ladies of FRSA have set a goal of raising $2,000 to purchase two video game systems to include televisions and media carts to allow the game systems to be rolled directly into a patient’s room. To support this cause and make a donation, please click here.
The committee is also collecting new and used child-friendly video games for any game system. Game donations can be brought to FRSA quarterly meetings or sent to the FRSA Offices at PO Box 4850, Winter Park, FL 32793.
