I’m not an expert designer, but in my experience as a builder and a contractor, I know that adding some simple exterior design features will definitely create a unique look and enhance your home’s curb appeal.  Florida homes built in the last decade have a very standard look – a smaller lot line and the typical stucco front.  Replacing traditional stucco bands with design features like shutters, three-dimensional sills, or “eyebrows” will add a pop of interest and draw extra attention to your home’s exterior.
