10 Sep Community Works O-Town MacDown!

This September, Universal Contracting Community Works had the pleasure of sponsoring the O-Town MacDown event supporting the non-profit organization, Give Kids The World (GKTW).
Give Kids The World Village is a 70-acre, non-profit resort in Central Florida that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. GKTW provides accommodations at its whimsical resort, donated attractions tickets, meals and more for a week-long, cost-free fantasy vacation. With the help of many generous individuals, corporations and partnering wish-granting organizations, Give Kids The World has welcomed more than 138,000 families from all 50 states and 75 countries.
O-Town MacDown is a creative “mac ‘n cheese” cooking competition, held between local professional chefs and restaurants. Scheduled for Saturday, September 12 at Osceola Heritage Park’s Exhibit Hall, from 11:00 am 4:00 pm, this family-oriented event will include activities for kids, continuous stage entertainment, assorted vendor booths, and of course, delicious “mac ‘n cheese”. Open to the public for food and family fun, you may purchase tickets in advance to visit our booth and support this great organization.
