24 May Today's Buzz: Bee-lieving in our Environment

Universal Project Manager, Steve Pearson reports: In a recent re-roof and construction job a large beehive was located in the soffit on one of the roofing gables. As an environmentally-concerned company, we called in a bee specialist; the hive was carefully removed, bees secured, and the area was treated. The honeybees were then transported along with their hive to a new home to continue with their “bee” jobs of pollinating new plants and keeping the ecology healthy. At Universal Contracting, a delay in production will not keep us from preserving lives that provide for our planet; we bee-lieve in our environment!
